I wanted to briefly introduce you to one of my favourite websites, located here.
The title, Iconic photos, is self explanatory, with the website content reflecting some of the more astonishing pictures ever taken without the genre of exclamation mark writing that characterises their description on .com websites.
The website’s posting frequency has slowed in recent times, which is unsurprising given that the list of iconic photos is ultimately exhaustive, but it remains a trove of interesting depictions of the politically decisive, the quirky, the culturally distant past and the extrordinarily moving.
A visit there is highly recommended.
